These pictures are from a while back, well, March to be specific. For Tom's birthday we spent the day riding horses at Will Roger's State Park, amongst other things. Seeing these pictures certainly makes me miss my long hair.

i got my film developed from when tom & i went out on our unexpected adventure last week. i really want to go back soon.

Tom & I went adventuring around the town yesterday & found a historical building that had been set aside as a museum. we didnt get to go inside & it was a bit odd since people live on the property too. anyways we took out our cameras & shot away.

Tuesday Afternoon

 Tom & used this day as our date day. It started out with a hike around the nature center in Anaheim. I brought another pair of shoes for the hike, i am not that cuckoo. There we had a picnic and just walked along the stream. It was lovely. Its nice to find refuge like this in the middle of suburbia.

Afterwards we headed out to the Richard Nixon Library & Birthplace because it was hot, hot, hot out & we both love american history. It was so much better than i expected. There were lots of fun little exhibits. My favorites being the gowns of mrs, nixon and her daughters. They also had a wall full of letters children had written to the president after he lost to president kennedy. This one was my favorite of them all:

The day ended with a short visit to tom's grandfathers & then we went to see harry potter in 3d. the theater was empty and it was a great end to a lovely day.

Spread Your Love

 Yesterday was a wonderfully busy day. It began with a surprise bouquet of flowers from Tom, and some chocolate chip pancakes. We then headed out to San Diego for the day. We went out to the local auto museum and to the timken museum of art for a bit too.

Afterwards, we headed out to the race track to bet our money & watch black rebel motorcycle club, who were playing after the races. It was my third time seeing them live in the past year or so, and it was still a great show. Anyways, on our way there we ran into this random little bridge & it was refreshing.

Big Bear Lake

 

For my birthday this year I decided I wanted to go canoeing on a lake. It was something that i did on a whim & i thoroughly enjoyed it. I will admit i do get a bit scared each time we head out into the water, but allowing a handful of minutes to pass makes the uneasiness slip away. It was a wonderful trip that included a picnic on the porch of an abandoned house, antique shopping & mini ice cream cones!
