Spread Your Love

 Yesterday was a wonderfully busy day. It began with a surprise bouquet of flowers from Tom, and some chocolate chip pancakes. We then headed out to San Diego for the day. We went out to the local auto museum and to the timken museum of art for a bit too.

Afterwards, we headed out to the race track to bet our money & watch black rebel motorcycle club, who were playing after the races. It was my third time seeing them live in the past year or so, and it was still a great show. Anyways, on our way there we ran into this random little bridge & it was refreshing.

Big Bear Lake

 

For my birthday this year I decided I wanted to go canoeing on a lake. It was something that i did on a whim & i thoroughly enjoyed it. I will admit i do get a bit scared each time we head out into the water, but allowing a handful of minutes to pass makes the uneasiness slip away. It was a wonderful trip that included a picnic on the porch of an abandoned house, antique shopping & mini ice cream cones!

it's my dad's birthday today. so while he is off racing on a nascar track for fun, i'm here posting pictures of him on the internet. feliz cumpleanos daddy

Rock, Flag, and Eagle

 

The Mister & I spotted a rock painted like an eagle today while we were out & about. Naturally we decided to pull over and snap some pictures, despite the fact that i was wearing heels and it was over 90 degrees out. Tom remarked that I was like a mountain goat with heels on. It was loads of fun even though I did come home with a cut on my leg...
